Storage Recommendations:
***To optimally keep lemon syrup and prevent oxidation, store it in an airtight glass container, ensuring that the syrup fills the container to minimize air exposure. Store it in the refrigerator, away from direct light and heat, which can accelerate oxidation. Lemon syrup oxidizes easily because lemons contain natural antioxidants, like vitamin C, that are sensitive to oxygen. When exposed to air, these antioxidants react with oxygen, causing the syrup to change color and develop a sour or off-flavor. To prevent this, minimizing exposure to air and storing it properly is essential.
